creates sewn sculptures which flirt with innovative digital techniques and contrast with a historical tactile shoddiness.
Entrenched in research, she intersects between these past and present textures and narratives, exploring ideas around the female body and the construct of femininity.
Hattie hosts a monthly podcast called Soroptopics, the title of which is shared with her design history blog. The blog follows an object focused approach, with each article attempting to reveal hidden or untold histories.
